Today we’re excited to roll out creator portfolios and Spark AR Gallery, two new features that enable AR creators to showcase their work in fresh new ways.
Spark AR is the world’s largest mobile AR platform, with more than 400,000 creators from 190 countries. As our ecosystem continues to grow, AR creators need more recognition and visibility to help boost their careers and work-for-hire opportunities, and businesses are equally eager for new ways to identify and connect with skilled creator talent.
Now you can easily create a portfolio of your Spark AR effects and showcase all of your work across Facebook and Instagram in a single, centralized place. Portfolios can be personalized with a profile photo, bio and links, plus we’re enabling messaging so that users who view your portfolio — be they other creators or prospective clients — can communicate and connect with you directly via Messenger.
Creator portfolios are simple to create, easy to manage and once published, they’re publicly available and discoverable from search engines, if you choose. To create your portfolio, head over to Spark AR Hub or check out our new documentation for a step-by-step guide.
Spark AR Gallery is a new surface where users can browse AR creator portfolios for inspiration and ideas. It’s also a helpful resource for businesses seeking to find and connect with skilled talent. Additionally, the Spark AR team will be regularly curating and sharing collections of creator portfolios, organized around specific topics, interests and other criteria to help showcase the depth and range of AR creators in the community.
While today marks an important milestone in the maturation of the Spark AR ecosystem, there will be more to share in the near future as we continue to build new features and programs to help AR creators grow their careers and businesses.
To start exploring Spark AR Gallery and creator portfolios, simply open up Spark AR Hub and follow the links in the dashboard. You can also learn more about both these features in our new documentation.
