Effects of 2020

As we reflect on a year full of milestones, we’re incredibly proud and humbled by the growth and momentum of the Spark AR platform. This year, with more than 1.2 million effects built by 400,000 AR creators — 55% of which are women — Spark AR is now the world’s largest mobile AR platform.

If there was one constant in this otherwise crazy year, it was the depth of creativity in the Spark AR creator community. Every week, our team found new sources of inspiration, entertainment and invention, from AR creators all over the world.
